Three New Rings: The Signet and the Emily Ring

Three New Rings: The Signet and the Emily Ring

MELBOURNE, Australia — Quarter Carat has dropped three new 6K solid gold rings tonight: the Slim Rectangle Signet, the Men’s Slim Rectangle Signet, and the Emily Ring. All three are available now at quartercarat.com.au from $270.

The drop marks two significant moments for the label: the first ring designed explicitly for men in the Quarter Carat range, and the first double-band ring. The signet pair also represents the brand’s most direct response to a category growing rapidly in the Australian market — signet rings at an accessible solid gold price point.

The Slim Rectangle Signet

The best things in life are the simple ones.

The Slim Rectangle Signet is 6K solid gold with a clean pill rectangle face and an open back construction. At 3.5mm at its widest point, it is purposefully light — designed to sit exactly in position throughout the day without spinning or bulk. No stone. No engraving. Just the rectangle face in solid gold, doing everything a signet is supposed to do.

It works on every finger. Pinky ring, index ring, ring finger. The open back construction keeps the weight down without compromising the presence of the face. It is a signet that goes with a linen shirt, a blazer, a t-shirt, or nothing in particular — because it does not need a reason to be worn.

From $270 in 6K solid gold. Custom sizing available.

The Men’s Slim Rectangle Signet

Identical in design to the women’s Slim Rectangle Signet. The distinction is in sizing — the Men’s Slim Rectangle Signet is available in the size range that fits men’s fingers, stocked and ready.

This is Quarter Carat’s first ring designed explicitly for men. The label has always positioned its plain gold pieces as genderless — the Square Franco Necklace and Bracelet have long been worn by male customers — but this is the first ring in the range built and sized with men specifically in mind.

The open back construction, comfort fit, and 3.5mm width work as well on a broader finger as they do on a slim one. A signet in solid gold that a man can wear every day without thinking about it. From $270.

The Emily Ring

The Emily Ring is something different. Inspired by the grace and grit of a real woman, it pairs two textures in one piece — a polished twisted upper band in yellow gold that tapers as it moves toward the sides, and beneath it, a pavé eternity lower band lined edge to edge with round cut clear stones.

The result looks like two rings stacked together. It is not. It is one piece, crafted in 6K solid gold, without the gaps or shifting that come with actually wearing two separate rings. At 6mm at its widest and narrowing to 1.7mm at the back, it sits comfortably close to the finger while reading as a considered stack from the front.

The twist and the pavé together are the design brief in one piece: something that holds two things at once without either cancelling the other out. The organic movement of the twist. The precision of the stones. Both present. From $330.

Three Rings. One Drop. Tonight.

The Slim Rectangle Signet, Men’s Slim Rectangle Signet, and Emily Ring are all available now at quartercarat.com.au. All are crafted in Quarter Carat’s proprietary 6K solid gold alloy — 25% pure gold, no nickel, no brass, no cobalt — and stamped with the karat and the QC logo. Custom sizing is available across all three pieces.
